Dog Bow Tie Review

Last week I had a good friend get married. She wanted to include her black lab mix in some wedding pictures. I suggested doing a dog bow tie because she didn't want him wearing an entire dog tuxedo. She thought that would be a great idea. Since he is a black dog, I thought a white bow tie would look good.

Pros: the white looked really good against the black fur, easy to put on and take off, easy way to get your dog dressed up for the wedding pictures, especially for dogs not used to wearing clothes

Cons: almost too small in the collar length, would not work for really big dogs, bow tie was kind of small- would have been better if the bow tie was a little larger

emBark Doggie Daycare

emBark Doggie Daycare, Eau Claire, Wi review

I started taking Duke to a doggie daycare when he was little. I wanted to make sure that he got as much social interaction with other dogs as possible. I knew that German shepherds could be dog aggressive and I didn't want that to happen with Duke. Also, as a hyper puppy, I didn't always have time to run around with him, so he could come here and wear himself out :) (which he always did). When I first took him there is was called The Beastro, they have since moved and added some services and are now emBark. When they were at their old building (he hasn't been to the new one enough), Duke would seriously start being excited about 3 blocks before we got there. Ever fail.

They also offer different events. emBark after Dark gives you a time to just hang out with your dog and enjoy other dog lovers company. They also offer training classes, I've never been to one, so I can't comment on them, but I would assume they are great also! They have a lock in during the Fourth of July so those dogs that are afraid of fireworks can get away.

Another great thing that I have found is that, they have partnered with a pet sitting company that will drop off and pick up your dog from daycare. I have used this multiple times when I have gone on vacation and Duke has stayed with my grandma who doesn't drive.

Pros: Everything. They have it split into small and large dogs. They offer grooming (which is great after a day of dog slobber) and nail clippings. Lots of toys and room. A separate potty area. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Cons: I have since moved from Eau Claire and can't find the same atmosphere for Duke where I currently live. He does get to go whenever I go home though.

Kind of a Con: I wish they were open on weekends, that is when I get back to my parents the most, but sadly they are not open.

Green Bay Packers Football Jersey for Cats

I like dressing up Jax in outfits, but being a male it is harder to find cute outfits that will work on a cat. I recently came across a football jersey and being a big football fan, I had to get a Green Bay Packers jersey for him. It is actually a dog jersey, but it also works well for cats!

I finally got it yesterday and I love it!

Pros: Fits very well. Looks and feels like an actual jersey, lightweight, high quality

Cons: It can't be personalized and comes with boring number 00 on it.

I give this product a 4.5 stars out of 5. It loses .5 stars because it can't be personalized.

I was looking for some cute and unique dog treats to bring to an event. I wanted something that looked like human treats and would catch people's attention. I came across The Barkery Online, which offers a lot of unique dog treats!

I was also under a time crunch and she was able to get them to me very fast. Duke, who doesn't like alot of treats, LOVES them.

Both of the pictures are items that I got. They actually looked sooo good that I debated whether or not to eat one myself. They are made with all natural ingredients, so I could have and it wouldn't have harmed me at all.

Fromm Cat Food

Fromm Cat Food Review

I recently switched my dog and cat over to Fromm after they were getting very gassy on Taste of the Wild.

There are 4 flavors in the 4 star line, which is what I buy. They are surf and turf, chicken a la veg, duck a la veg, and salmon a la veg.

Pros: Not gassy! Different varieties so I can switch proteins.

Cons: Not all are grain free, which I would like.

I would give this food a 4.5 out of 5 stars.
